I've been meaning to share my skincare routine for awhile now. I'm not beauty editor, but I'm super into skincare products over makeup and try to take really good care of my skin. I realize the importance of finding products that make me look and feel my best. I always love reading about blogger's 'must haves' so thought I'd throw my hat in the ring and share some of my own!
Since my skin is on the sensitive side I lean more towards natural products that I know won't irritate, are gentle and light and get the job done. While I try to test out new products to see which really work best, these skincare products stuck out amongst the rest and get my ringing endorsement!
1 | Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer
Let's begin in the order of how I apply the products throughout the day - and the first is an excellent source for protecting my skin! Ever since I got ahold of Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30 I haven't turned back. It protects my skin and makes it look fresh and flawless at the same time. It's sheer and always feels light against my skin yet is super-hydrating! A real win win in my book!
I''m currently using Terra Neuve but have also tried St. Moritz for a bit color and have gotten really great results from both of them. Again, us fair-skinned girls can't be too careful when it comes to the sun!
2 | Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Face Wash
For as picky as I can be about Face Wash, you'd think this one would have a higher price tag, but if you have sensitive skin you really have to try out Desert Essence for a bargain. I've noticed it addresses any acute issues I've had with my skin, evens out it's texture, and just leaves me with a more fresher look without all the chemicals and oil of other products. I really wish I found this one sooner.
3 | Clarins Toning Lotion with Chamomile
The first night I used Clarins Toning Lotion with Chamomile I nearly feel sleep asleep like a baby. That's the adjustment to the Chamomile in effect, but once the grace period has passed it's just.a fresh and cool feeling that picks up anything the cleanser may have missed. It leaves my skin firm and has no drying effect either.
4 | Philosophy Hope in a Jar
I love this moisturizer! If you're looking for a light and supple moisturizer for sensitive skin, Hope in a Jar has you covered. It especially works well as a base for makeup, but I usually use a dab or two right after toning to hydrate my skin.
I'm sure keen on moisturizing both my face and neck, and try to do so both in the morning and at night after cleansing. This one is light as a cloud, gentle, and gets the job done.
5 | Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm
Last but not least is my go-to favorite eye cream - Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm. I mean, it's not like I tried 10001 other eye creams, this is the only one and still will only buy this one! If you're on the fence about eye creams for any age I'd absolutely give this one my ringing endorsement. As someone with fair skin, I tend to have some discoloration in my under-eye, and this eye cream goes on really smooth and leaves the area tight and gorgeous I don't even have to wear concealer. I don't mind splurging on this one knowing my protecting my under-eye area and giving it alittle TLC.
I dab alittle bit on morning and night at always notice a difference.
There you have it! My go-to favorites for making an impact in the appearance of my skin and how I feel climbing into bed at night. I hope you find a product or two you end of loving to the last drop in the process! Skincare is one of those things that entails sifting through so much information and experimenting until you find products that work the best for me. What are some of your favorite products?
*I have bought and used all of the products on my own. This is my own opinion and I am not paid to promote any of these brands/products.
